Booster Pump

A booster pump is a mechanical device designed to increase water pressure in a system. These pumps work by drawing water from a point of low pressure and pumping it forcefully to another point of higher pressure.

They come in multiple sizes and flows ranging from 1 cubic meter per hour to 150 cubic meters per hour, in addition to being multi-pressure ranging from 2 bars to 16 bars.

Uses of booster pumps
Increasing water pressure in homes: The water pressure from the public network may not be sufficient to provide a strong water flow in the upper floors, booster pumps solve this problem.

Irrigation systems: In agriculture, booster pumps are used to lift water from wells or tanks to crop fields.

Industry: They are used in many industrial processes that require high water pressure and water circulation.

Water treatment: They are used in water treatment plants to pump water from one stage to another.

They are also used in hospitals, medical centers, farms, greenhouses, cooling systems, and water heaters.

How does a booster pump work?
Suction: The pump draws water from a point of low pressure.

Pressure: The pump increases the water pressure.

Thrust: The pump forces water to a point of higher pressure.
